Elemental Woman

  • "You are refreshing and vital as the air, graceful and tender as sparkling water, lustrous and consuming as flames of fire, generous and enveloping as space and stable and deep as the earth... you elemental woman are perfect beauty itself." - ancient essay on 'Panchakanya or the five elemental women of Indian mythology.

Ayurvedic Principles

  • Food is the best medicine. How we nourish ourselves, with diet and with our thoughts, make up who we are.

Good pranayama practice is vital to our health and creates awareness in our life.

Digestion Tips

  • Eat your main meal midday when agni is strongest, eat lighter at night, and avoid eating after 7pm.

Don't eat when angry, sad or upset.

Sit down when you eat. Don't eat too fast nor too slow.

Chewing fennel seeds after a meal aids digestion.

Purpose
